At the September 2006 Board meeting, OSPA leaders decided to add a “web log” (or “blog”) to the list of electronic publishing services offered. Here it is!
Blogs typically contain news, musings, announcements, ramblings, and what-have-you. As time goes by, I suspect OSPA members will find many creative uses for this blog.
Have fun – and as my grandmother used to say, “Keep your words sweet because some day you may need to eat them!”

Nice work Phil! So, how do we post a new entry?

1) Direct your web browser (Firefox, Safari, Opera, Camino, MS Internet Explorer, etc.) to:
http://ospa.wordpress.com
2) Join the WordPress community. (Create an account with WordPress, which gets you a user name and a password.) You can also create your own blog, if you want.
3) Send an email to webeditor@ospaonline.com to tell me that you want to write content for pages on this blog. If you are an OSPA member, I can promote you to “author” status.

Does anyone know the parameters of doing private work, such as consulting or testing, with a School Psych license? What, if anything, could be billed to insurance? Is anyone doing any private work who would be willing to talk to me about it?

I believe our capacity to practice outside of the schools is particularly limited. I’m not sure about consulting, but testing and practicing outside of the school setting is not allowed.
